Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Program
Book An AppointmentCanadian Experience Class (CEC) Program is an immigration stream aimed at individuals who may become permanent residents on the basis of their work experience in Canada thereby enabling them to become economically established in Canada.
Certain temporary workers and international students who are graduates of a Canadian post-secondary institution may apply for permanent residence under the CEC. To qualify, the candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Plan to live outside the province of Quebec
- Have at least 12 months of skilled work experience in in Canada in the last 36 months before applying
- Skilled work must be full-timeor
- An equal amount in part-time( 30 hours/week or 1560 hours/year)
- The work experience must be in a skilled occupation (National Occupational Classification {NOC}) skill lever 0, A or B)
Proficiency in English or French
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 for first language for all levels for NOC 0 or A
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for first language for all levels for NOC B
